Chairman, President and CEO

Leland Strange is Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer and President of Intelligent Systems Corporation. Mr. Strange has been with the company since its merger with Quadram Corporation in 1982.

Mr. Strange serves as a director of Great Plains Software (NASDAQ: GPSI) and sits on the board of directors of several private companies, including PaySys, Risk Laboratories, ThinkWorks, ChemFree and MediZeus.

Mr. Strange also serves on the Alliance Technology Ventures Advisory Board, Georgia Tech Research Corp., Georgia Tech University’s DuPree School of Management Advisory Board and is a board member for the Georgia Chamber of Commerce. He is a trustee of EmTech Biotechnology Development, Inc. and Georgia Baptist Health Care Services and a member of the Society of International Business Fellows.

Prior to being appointed President of Intelligent Systems in 1982, Mr. Strange founded Quadram Corporation in 1980. Quadram pioneered the enhancement products industry and was one of the fastest growing electronics companies in the early 1980s.

Prior to Quadram, Mr. Strange founded a number of successful ventures in several industries. He also served as a marketing professor specializing in entrepreneurial enterprises at Mercer University.

He has served as a board member of the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce and Georgia Research Alliance and is past chair of the American Electronics Association Southeast Chapter.

Mr. Strange received a B.S. degree in Industrial Management from Georgia Institute of Technology and a M.B.A. from Georgia State University.
