Ardext Announces Asia Expansion Tucson, Arizona January 2, 2003Ardext Technologies, a producer of RF/Analog/Mixed Signal Test Time Reduction Products, has announced the first phase of its expansion into Asia, following its agreement with Spirox, a large, publicly traded Distribution Firm based in Hsinchu, Taiwan. According to Doug Goodman, Ardext’s President, “Our customers asked us to provide regional sales and support for their Manufacturing Operations in Asia, so we aligned ourselves with the best independent support organization available. Spirox is ideal for us, since it has operations in Taiwan, Mainland China and Singapore, where our customers have their production plants and have excellent technical qualifications. Our customers have achieved significant test cost savings on a variety of components, including RFIC’s, Analog IC’s and different types of Mixed Signal parts and rolling out more of the implementations to Asia.” Eric Wei, Spirox’s VP of Business Development noted “We have seen tremendous interest in Asia in the Ardext Products. Many of our customers have a variety of ATE Test Platforms and seek methods to increase tester capacity. Ardext offers test cost reductions exceeding 50% that are independent of the specific Hardware Test Platform used, so it is an especially good solution for them” Ardext Technologies, Inc. was founded in 2000, as a spin-off from Georgia Tech in Atlanta.
