CoreCard's Commercial Card Software Attains MasterCard(R) IPM Compliance

       NORCROSS, Ga., May 20, 2003 /PRNewswire/ -- CoreCard Software, Inc., a PaySys International spin-off, today announced that its CoreISSUE(TM) global card management and payment processing system is fully compliant with MasterCard's issuing vendor testing for Purchasing Card Authorization and Smart Data Common Data Format files.

       As part of the testing, MasterCard verified that the CoreISSUE commercial card solution is able to:

     * Receive and forward Global Clearing Management System (GCMS) Purchasing Card records including Passenger Transport, Vehicle Rental, Lodging, Generic and Purchasing;

    * Process GCMS and internally-generated Business, Corporate and Purchasing;

    * Report transactions to include the requisite seven corporate hierarchy levels; (CoreISSUE supports an unlimited number of levels for reporting);

    * Generate files containing all Business, Corporate and Purchasing Card transactions in the MasterCard Purchasing Card Smart Data-supported format and transmit them to MasterCard for processing;

    * Perform Purchasing Card authorizations with cardholder usage restrictions at the cardholder level by six or more merchant category code ranges, single transaction amount, maximum number of transactions daily and monthly, and maximum dollar amount of transactions daily and monthly;

    * Restrict cardholder usage at the corporate level by dollar amount of transactions monthly, and

    * Support centralized billing and cardholder level billing.

       CoreISSUE is a fully integrated, browser-based, card system featuring multilingual and multi-currency capabilities. The system provides comprehensive, real-time processing of payments and transactions including authentication, authorization, clearing, settlement, customer service, dispute management, statement processing and letters generation. CoreISSUE runs on Intel processor-based hardware and is designed to scale regardless of portfolio size or transaction volume.
