VISaer to Provide M&E Software For JetBlue Airways

Wilmington, MA, USA, August 20, 2002 – VISaer, Inc. announced today that New York based low-fare carrier JetBlue Airways will implement the VISaer Maintenance and Engineering software as its nationwide maintenance solution. After an exhaustive evaluation process of all leading M&E business systems, JetBlue selected the VISaer enterprise-wide system to handle all its maintenance planning, scheduling, execution and records on a 24-hour basis.

The VISaer M&E system offers JetBlue maximum financial benefits and increased operational performance, with quick and easy access to critical, accurate and current information, all of which are essential for effective decision making in the dynamic environment of commercial aviation.

VISaer’s M&E solution also enables the low-cost airline to increase throughput, reduce inventory and operating expenses, while boosting quality, fleet dependability and reliability. The system’s accurate and clear visibility into operational and resource requirements, scenarios and forecasting will help JetBlue to proactively address the changing needs of their organization throughout time.

“At JetBlue, we always look to the latest technology to help keep our costs low and our operations efficient,” said Amir Nasruddin, JetBlue’s Director of Technical Standards. “VISaer’s M&E solution offers us a cost-effective, state-of-the-art system for streamlining and managing all facets of our technical operations, from regulatory compliance to inventory management.”

David J. Spellman, President of VISaer, Inc., said, “We believe that with VISaer’s M&E system in place, JetBlue will continue to set new standards in operational excellence and efficiency, just as it has since launching a little more than two years ago.”
