IMMEDIATE RELEASE New features increase operational efficiencies; enhance credit management and reporting capabilities NORCROSS, Ga., September 23, 2005 – CoreCard Software, Inc., a *PaySys International Inc. spin-off and premier provider of next-generation collections, credit and merchant management and payment processing systems, today announced the addition of new features to the CoreISSUE™ Private Label credit account management and transaction processing system for retailers that offer financing to their customers. The new features add to the existing robust credit management, portfolio segmentation and reporting capabilities. They also improve the retailer’s operational efficiencies and allow credit grantors and credit card issuers to offer more financing options. CoreCard believes it has the best software available at a fair price, on low-cost commodity processors, with the same features and functionality of the world-renowned VisionPLUS software. New Feature Highlights: · Merchant Accounts Receivable Management: This feature tracks and manages payments made with all payment instruments including in-store credit, money orders, checks, ACH, Visa, MasterCard, Telecheck, American Express and Discover. Reports can be generated that provide a complete view of a retailer’s receivables. It also provides a 360-degree view of a customer’s purchasing behavior, which can be analyzed to create customized marketing messages. · Securitization Management: Credit grantors that securitize segments of their portfolio to third-parties can utilize this feature to track and manage all segments for a higher degree of operational control. · Advanced Credit Refund Balance: Credit grantors can select when credit refund checks are to be issued according to the original payment method. · Large Ticket Item Installment Plans: In addition to being able to offer a revolving line of credit and deferred-interest payment terms, the Large Ticket Item Installment Plan feature gives credit grantors the flexibility of also offering installment credit plans concurrently with all the other plans. Credit grantors can let their account holders pay in any number of installments and can offer them installment payment terms each time they make a large ticket item purchase. · Advanced Billing Cycle Management: This feature gives credit grantors greater flexibility in managing cash flow. The system can select the next available statement processing date according to the account holder’s date of first purchase. · Affiliate Merchants: This feature lets the account holder use their line of credit within the retailer’s network of affiliate merchants. The application was developed using the company’s patent-pending CoreENGINE™ universal lending and credit transaction processing software platform, which enables rapid and more cost-effective development and deployment of financial applications. The platform’s open architecture and object-oriented design enables the introduction of new technologies as they emerge as well as ease of integration with a variety of third-party applications.
